오늘의 영어 표현은: Bright and early 입니다.When you are going on a road trip, it’s a good idea to get on the road first thing in the morning. That way, you can avoid the traffic and get to your destination on time.
자동차로 장거리 여행을 할때는 아침 일찍 일어나서 떠나는게 좋은데요, 교통 혼잡도 피하고, 목적지에 제 시간에 도착할 수 있기 때문이죠! Sam과 Kiana는 필라델피아에서 DC로 여행을 왔다고 하는데요, 아침 일찍 일어나 차를 타고 왔다고 합니다. 그럼 먼저 이들과 나눈 대화를 들어보시겠습니다.

Jen: You guys woke up bright and early today to get here?
Sam: Yup, a 3 hour ride, so…
Jen: You guys were off on the road bright and early today. Did you have any snacks on the way? Breakfast?
Sam: Breakfast.
Kiana: If you want to call it that.
Jen: McDonald’s?
Sam: Umm, some bag of chips from Wawa’s.
Jen: Bag of chips for breakfast?
Kiana: Fruits. I had fruits and cheese.
Jen: You know what, have fun here and enjoy your time. Safe travels back.
Since they got on the road early in the morning, I asked them if they got a chance to eat breakfast or have some snacks along the way. Sam, with a big smile on his face, said that he had a bag of chips from Wawa’s, which is a food market.
Sam과 Kiana는 필라델피아에서 DC까지 운전을 해서 왔다고 했는데요, 그래서 제가 ‘You guys woke up bright and early today to get here?’ 라고 물어봤습니다.아침 일찍 일어나서 온거냐고 물어본 거죠!
