When you know something inside out, it means you have thorough knowledge about something. Know (~something) inside out은 ‘손바닥 보듯 (뭔가를) 속속들이 알다, (~) 잘 알고있다’라는 뜻으로, ‘뒤집다’라는 의미를 포함하고 있는 inside out처럼 어떠한 사실을 한쪽이 아닌 여러가지 면에서 빈틈없이 알고 있는 것을 표현하고 있습니다.
