Overdo it
Mike: Hey, I think I’m overdoing the workout routine during the basketball practice. My knees have been in a lot of pain these days.
Jason: Oh no! I had something similar happen to me last time. The doctor told me that I should refrain from any physical activities and let my knees recover. However, I can do very light exercises and stretches but not overdo it. So you should do the same.
Mike: Ah, I see. Thanks for letting me know.
Mike가 “Hey, I think I’m overdoing the workout routine during the basketball practice. My knees have been in a lot of pain these days. 라고 하자 Jason이 “I had something similar happen to me last time. The doctor told me that I should refrain from any physical activities and let my knees recover. However, I can do very light exercises and stretches but not overdo it. So you should do the same. Mike가 “Ah, I see. Thanks for letting me know! Keep today’s phrase ‘overdo it’ in mind and let’s hear the conversation again.

Overdo it means to do too much of something, to exaggerate something, or to work too hard to the point that you become too restless and tired. Now let me give you some examples. “You’ve painted your room walls all blue! I think you’re overdoing it.” “It’s best not to put too much salt in the food. Overdoing it is unhealthy for you.” Now you know what it means to overdo it right? Then we will listen to the conversation for the last time.
