중국 관영 신화통신은 태풍 빌리스로 인한 사망자 수가 최소한 115명으로 늘어났다고 보도했습니다. 후난주에서는 1백여명이 실종된 상태입니다.
신화통신은 후지안주에서 43명, 후난주 39명, 광둥에서는 33명의 사망이 확인됐다고 밝혔습니다.
지난 14일 중국 동부지역을 강타한 이번 태풍으로 수많은 마을이 침수되고 도로가 파손됐으며 수천여명이 대피했습니다.
이밖에 중국의 북부와 남부를 잇는 주요 철로가 침수돼 수많은 여행객들의 발이 묶였다는 보도도 나오고 있습니다.

China's state news agency says the death toll in the aftermath of Typhoon Bilis has risen to at least 115 people. More than 100 people are missing in Hunan province.
Xinhua reports 43 confirmed deaths in Fujian province, 39 in Hunan, and 33 in Guangdong.
The typhoon, which blew through eastern China on Friday, flooded villages, damaged roads and forced the evacuation of thousands of people.
There are reports that parts of China's main north-south railway line have flooded, stranding thousands of travelers.
