유럽 연합 대변인은 부뤼셀에서 13일 기자들에게, 하비에르 솔라나 유럽 연합 정책 실장이 알리 라리자니 이란 핵 협상 대표와 유럽의 어느 장소에서 회담을 가질 것이라고 밝히고 , 그러나 아직 구체적인 장소는 확정되지 않았다고 말했습니다. 이번 만남은 두 대표간에 한주사이에 두번째 만남이 됩니다.
외교관들은, 비엔나에서 열렸던 이전 회담에서 라리자니 이란 대표가 협상 기간동안 우라늄 농축 활동의 임시 중단 고려를 제시했다고 말하고 있습니다. 이란은 그러나 공식적으로 이를 부인하고 있습니다. 콘돌리자 라이스 미국무장관은 이란핵계획에 관한 협상을 시작하기 전에 이란은 반드시 우라늄 농축활동을 중단해야 한다고 강조하고 있습니다.

European Union's foreign policy chief is to meet with Iran's top nuclear negotiator on Thursday to discuss possible ways to resolve Tehran's nuclear standoff with the West.
An EU spokesperson (Cristina Gallach) told reporters in Brussels (today / Wednesday) that Javier Solana will meet Iran's Ali Larijani somewhere in Europe, but the place has yet to be decided.
It will be the second meeting between the two officials in a week.
Diplomats say at the previous talks in Vienna (on Saturday and Sunday) Larijani offered to consider a temporary suspension of enrichment activities during negotiations. But Iran publicly denied making the proposal.
U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has said Iran must suspend uranium enrichment in a verifiable fashion before negotiations can begin on its nuclear program.
Iran ignored an August 31st U.N. deadline to stop enriching uranium.
