프랑스가 북한의 최근 탄도미사일 발사를 강력하게 규탄했습니다.
[프랑스 외교부]” France condemns in the strongest possible terms the three ballistic missile tests carried out by North Korea on May 12. They represent the latest violations of UN Security Council resolutions prohibiting North Korea from carrying out any kind of launch involving ballistic technology.”
프랑스 외교부는 13일 성명을 내고 “지난 5월 12일 북한이 탄도미사일 3발을 발사한 것을 가능한 가장 강력한 용어로 규탄한다”면서, 이는 탄도 기술이 관련된 북한의 어떤 발사도 금지하는 유엔 안보리 결의를 위반하는 가장 최근 사례라고 지적했습니다.
그러면서 “프랑스는 역내 안정과 국제 안보에 위협이 되는 북한의 탄도미사일 시험 횟수가 올해 초 이후 증가하고 있는 것에 대해 여전히 우려하고 있다”고 덧붙였습니다.
[프랑스 외교부] “France remains concerned by the increased number of ballistic tests carried out by North Korea since the beginning of the year, which represent a threat to regional stability and international security. France continues to urge North Korea to comply immediately with its obligations and to return to the negotiating table to engage in a process of complete, verifiable, irreversible denuclearization. Together with our partners, we will remain fully committed to ensuring the full implementation of UN Security Council resolutions.”
이어 “프랑스는 북한에 국제적 의무를 즉각 준수하고 협상 테이블로 복귀해 완전하고 검증 가능하며 되돌릴 수 없는 방식의 비핵화 과정에 관여할 것을 계속 촉구한다”도 밝혔습니다.
아울러 “우리는 파트너들과 함께 유엔 안보리 결의의 완전한 이행을 보장하는데 전념할 것”이라고 강조했습니다.
앞서 한국 합동참모본부는 지난 12일 북한이 평양 순안 일대에서 동해상으로 발사한 단거리 탄도미사일 3발을 포착했다고 밝혔습니다.
이번 북한의 발사는 한국 윤석열 정부 출범 이후 처음이자 지난 7일 잠수함발사탄도미사일(SLBM)을 쏘아 올린 지 닷새 만이며, 올들어 16번째 무력 도발입니다.
